This Month's Site of Interest
It's important to get the right solution for your business from a Web design and development company. They need to listen to you and find out what you want to achieve, in what time frame and on what budget. At Avatar, we pride ourselves on developing great working partnerships with our clients and keeping the lines of communication well and truly open.
USave Car Rentals
The Brief — When one of our long-term clients, USave Rental Cars approached us to revamp their existing Web site, we were more than happy to put our creative hats on once again to help them out. USave (formerly ARF Rental Cars) underwent a huge re-branding exercise last year and wanted their existing Web site to reflect these changes, maintain its search engine positioning and to compete as effectively as possible with the 'bigger guys' in an increasingly tight and aggressive car rentals market.
What We Did — We worked closely with USave to draw up their requirements, making suggestions and recommendations on how the home page could be revamped to help increase its visual impact and to increase the amount of bookings and enquiries received. These included:
- Adding a booking and enquiry form to the home page
- Updating the images and format of the banner Flash animation
- Adding a revolving advertising banner featuring each of the rental vehicles available
- Highlighting the company's main USP (price) in prominent locations
- Introducing a call to action panel with new graphics and colours
- Re-write of the home page text.
